The information below are directions to the Shipley Juniors pitches that they use for training or games.



Please check which ground you should be playing at.

HIRST LANE PLAYING FIELDS

Get on to the main A650 road from either Bradford or Keighley and keep going until you come to Saltaire roundabout.

Take the road behind 'The Old Tramshed Pub' signposted Clarence Road leading to Hirst Lane. Keep going down here for about half a mile and you will come to the pitches on the left hand side just after 'Hughes' Bakery and before you get to the canal.

SANDALS PRIMARY SCHOOL, WEST LANE , BAILDON
From fox corner in the centre of Shipley follow the signs for Baildon. You will go past Focus DIY on your right and will then come to a set of traffic lights.

Fork left at these lights and follow the road up to the roundabout in the centre of Baildon.

Take the second exit off the roundabout called 'The Grove' and follow this road until you see signs warning you of a school zone. Shortly after these signs you will come to the school on your left.

COTTINGLEY VILLAGE PRIMARY SCHOOL

From the A650 Bradford Road you need to go to the traffic lights at Cottingley Bar.

Turn up the B6269 Cottingley New Road at the lights.

Go straight on at both mini roundabouts.

You will then pass the 'SUN' pub on the left and you need to take the first right after the pub onto Cottingley Moor Road.

The school is 50 yards up this road on the left.

SALTS SPORTS ASSOCIATION

Get on to the main A650 road from either Bradford or Keighley and keep going until you come to Saltaire roundabout.

From the roundabout take the road behind 'THE OLD TRAMSHED' pub signposted Clarence Road leading to Hirst Lane.


Keep going down here for about half a mile and you will pass 'Hughes' bakery on the left and also the Hirst Lane playing fields where the older teams at Shipley play.

Keep going straight on and you will go over the canal swingbridge and keep going straight forwards down an unmade road.

You will pass a garden centre on your right and you need to turn right after this down a track to the ground.

COTTINGLEY MANOR PITCHES

From the A650 Bradford Road you need to go to the traffic lights at Cottingley Bar.

Turn up the B6269 Cottingley New Road at the lights.

You will come to a mini roundabout and you need to turn left.

After 50 yards you will need to turn into the entrance to 'Cannons Leisure Centre'.

Carefully drive round to the back of the building and the field is behind it.
