Club Fundraiser for Flood Damage

Please see below a fabulous idea to raise funds towards the flood damage at our main site Salts Sports. Chris Sykes has been with the club for many years through the juniors and now plays for the senior section. We are encouraging parents and coaches from all age groups to be represented as a club response to the Boxing Day flooding.

Please see below:

Ladies and Gents, last year you may have seen the fundraising event I decided to organise, “Run4Salts”, in a bid to raise vital funds for both our junior and senior sections.

Following on from the unforeseen flooding, the need for your continued support this year more than ever.

To recap, “Run4Salts” will hopefully see 100 volunteers from across our club, sign up to run the Leeds 10k on Sunday 10 July.

If each person can pledge to raise a minimum of £100, we will collectively raise a total of £10,000.

I know this is a bold proposal but I have no doubt it is possible but we need your help to volunteer.

So far we have 37 people signed up which is fantastic, but we are some way off our target.

Full details of the event can be found below, but if this is something you would be interested in volunteering for please do not hesitate to get in touch.

A huge thank you all in advance to all of our volunteers and for any support you may be able to give.
