THE 11 th ANNUAL SHIPLEY JUNIORS 5-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT 2010
VENUE SANDAL PRIMARY SCHOOL, BAILDON
SAT 19th JUNE - 9-30 AM BOYS UNDER 8S/ BOYS UNDER 11S / BOYS UNDER 14S
SAT 19th JUNE - 2-30 PM - BOYS UNDER 7S / BOYS UNDER 10S / BOYS UNDER 13S
SUN 20th JUNE - 9-30 AM BOYS UNDER 9S / BOYS UNDER 12S / UNDER 6S FUN EVENT
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our annual 5-A-Side competition.
For those of you that have been before you will know that this is probably the biggest and most well organised event in the area which provides the opportunity for over 1800 children to participate in football.
Squads are of 7 players maximum (5 playing + 2 subs that can be rolled on and off)
Boys Event
There will be separate competitions for A teams and B teams.
A winners cup will be presented and every single player at the event will receive a trophy.
As at last years event we are insisting that you bring two teams to the event.
One A team and one B team (The definition of A team is your strongest 5-a-side team and your B team your weaker team regardless of whether they still may play for your 11-a-side A team ).
Any team found to be playing their stronger team in the B team competition will be disqualified from the event
The entry fee for this event is £25 per team.
There will be 12 A teams and 12 B teams per age group.
PLEASE NOTE UNDER 7S AND UNDER 8S WILL NOT PLAY COMPETITIVELY AS PER FA GUIDELINES

Under 6's Event
We also run on the Sunday afternoon an Under 6s none competitive event which last year had 24 teams playing.
If you have an Under 6s section and would like them to enter please contact us for an application form.
Entry to the Under 6s event is £20 per team.
Confirmation of entry into the event will be by our website where we will add your name when we receive your application.
Receipts will only be sent out if requested on your application form.
An information pack will then be sent out about three weeks before the event.
If there are other age groups at your club that would like to enter please download another application form from our website in the documents section or phone us for another invite.
